Materials you will need to make this toy:

•Acrylic worsted weight yarn – brown and a little bit of black. Fluffy brown yarn (for hair and tail end) and yellow for scarf
•Knitting needles – US size 4 or 5
•mattress needle
•polyester or cotton for stuffing

In order to be able to make this toy, you will need to know basics of knitting and very basics of embroidery:
Casting on and off, Knit, purl, increase, knit two stitches together, knit three stitches together, purl two stitches together

Mr. Lion is around 13 inches tall(the size of the toy depends on the size of the yarn and knitting needles as well as on how tightly you are knitting)

The pdf pattern guides you to make different pieces and then guides how to make up the toy. It is easy and fun to make this toy. The pattern is designed for beginner and intermediary skilled knitters.
