Materials you will need to make Long Teddy Bear:

• Double Knit (DK) yarn – (weight: 300 m in 100 gr / 333yds/3.5oz) in light brown, white, navy blue, a little black
  
• 2 sets of double-pointed knitting needles (5 needles per set); size 2.5 or 3 mm (US size 1.5 or 2.5)
• Polyester for stuffing
  
• Mattress needle
  
• Scissors

The pattern is designed for intermediate level knitters. The toy is knitted in the round with double-pointed knitters. Make sure you are comfortable with knitting in the round before starting the project.

Required skills: Casting on and off, Knit, purl, increase, iknit two stitches together, purl two stitches together – all knitted in the round.

The toy is around 24 inches (60 cm) tall (the size of the toy depends on the size of the yarn and knitting needles as well as on how tightly you are knitting)
